I was so nervous and ecstatic when Amanda Keefer contacted me about sending in an image for Fox 35 News. She mentioned that Chrissy Allen, co-founder of PLAYGROUND Magazine was looking to use this image of Amanda and her family, in a segment about holiday family portraits. I was so nervous the next morning as we had the news on in the background, as we tidied up the house a little for my parents' visit that day. I almost thought my image didn't make it into the story and I had put my iPhone up and closed the camera app, as I had planned to snap a pic. Well lo and behold the image came on last during the segment and I quickly grabbed my iPhone to grab a pic, which turned out fuzzy but I was so excited I didn't care.
